Description

A delicious mash-up of creamy Caesar salad and grilled chicken in a soft buttery roll, this Chicken Caesar Sandwich is perfect for quick lunches and casual dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, grilled and sliced
  • 4 buttery rolls or sandwich buns
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Grill the chicken breasts over medium heat until cooked through, about 6–8 minutes per side. Let the chicken rest before slicing into thin strips.
  2. Toss the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing until well coated. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice the rolls in half horizontally. Optional: heat them briefly on the grill while the chicken rests.
  4. Place a generous portion of the Caesar salad mixture on the bottom half of each roll.
  5. Layer on the sliced grilled chicken and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover with the top half of the roll and serve immediately.

Notes

Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). Dress the lettuce just before serving for the crispiest sandwich.
