Warm, cheesy, and comforting, this Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole features a flaky crescent dough crust filled with chicken, cream cheese, and cheddar.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Combine the cubed chicken, softened cream cheese, chopped onion, and shredded cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon the chicken mixture over the crescent roll crust, spreading it into an even layer.
- Fold the edges of the crescent roll dough over the filling and bake for 25–30 minutes.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For variation, try adding cayenne for spice or mix in extra cheese. Let rest after baking for cleaner slices.
