A fiery, sweet-and-spicy chicken dish that’s quick to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the honey-hot sauce mixture over the top, ensuring it’s well coated.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a milder version, substitute hot sauce with a milder chili sauce. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
