Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and pour the honey-hot sauce mixture over the top, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a milder version, substitute hot sauce with a milder chili sauce. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
