Description

Irresistibly cozy and quick, these Honey Garlic Chicken Bites are tender chicken coated in a sweet and savory honey-soy-garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Cooked rice or vegetables of your choice

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Ensure the oil shimmers before adding chicken.
  2. Cook the cubed chicken in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the sauce by whisking honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  4. Combine the sauce with cooked chicken in the skillet and stir until chicken is coated.
  5. Thicken the sauce by cooking for an additional 2–3 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or your choice of vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Use low-sodium soy sauce for a lighter option.
