Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cubed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Cooked rice or vegetables of your choice
Instructions
- Heat the skillet by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Ensure the oil shimmers before adding chicken.
- Cook the cubed chicken in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
- Combine the sauce with cooked chicken in the skillet and stir until chicken is coated.
- Thicken the sauce by cooking for an additional 2–3 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
