A quick and creamy one-skillet meal featuring ground chicken, pasta, and melty cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of Pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 pound of Ground Chicken (or ground turkey/beef)
  • 2 cups of Chicken Broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1 cup of Milk (or cream)
  • 1 cup of Shredded Cheese (cheddar and mozzarella blend)
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning (or oregano/basil)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken and break it up with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink, seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add pasta to the skillet and cook according to package instructions (about 10-12 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is cooked, reduce heat and stir in the milk.
  7. Mix in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
