Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste) (adjust for spice preference)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Whisk the sauce: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, gochujang, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Heat the skillet: Place a large skillet over medium heat. Allow the rotisserie chicken to warm slightly before cooking.
  3. Add chicken and sauce: Place the shredded chicken in the skillet and pour the sauce over it. Stir to coat evenly.
  4. Simmer and thicken: Allow the mixture to simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Finish and garnish: Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
